We stayed here for two weeks at the end of April and beginning of May and were very pleased with the accommodation, we'd been there two years ago and were disappointed with the standard of the accommodation. We were accommodation only and could not fault the cleanliness and layout of the apartment. There was a good shop on site for necessities and if needed a bus shuttle to the beach. We tended to walk down to the beach/ restaurants and get a taxi back as the hill is very steep and not recommended for the elderly or anyone with disabilities. Staff were friendly and we had no problems with this hotel.More
Stayed here for a week we had three rooms between 9 ov us it's a nice hotel on a hill but only 3.50 euros to get up and down the hotel looks really nice some apartments have ovens if your self catering and some don't fee little ants and cockroaches but you are aboard interior ov the rooms could do with up dating with modern kitchen bathroom beds and aircon as the rooms get quite hot over night and I'm sure if they did this people wouldn't mind paying that bit extra for comfort other then that lovely hotel 2nd time here More
Lovely complex with stunning views
It was a lot better than we expected reading other comments, apartment was lovely, pool and whole area was beautiful, staff were very friendly and whole place was spotless. It is a wee bit of a climb up to apartments from main town, but not too bad, there is actually an Iceland nearby if you go self-catering. Food not the greatest at times or would of given five stars. Would definitely come again with my family, LOVED IT.More
Cheap and Cheerful
It was ok for the price we paid. All inclusive food wasn't awful but wasn't great, probably the same as other hotels of the same standard. We found ourselves going out to eat as we became bored of the food. The pool was big but very busy but as we travelled during the school holidays this was to be expected. Rooms were very old and very shabby but kept mostly clean (cleaned every other day) although one of the other couples we we were on holiday with did not have their room cleaned for 4 days despite complaining several times for it to be cleaned. General cleanliness of the hotel up to standard. Not sure why they have so many complaints of cockroaches, think I only saw about 3 on the whole hotel complex throughout the whole week I was there and none in my room whatsoever!Very small cups for all inclusive drinks and all inclusive only served until 10:30 pm which we found very early. If you miss breakfast and can't wait for lunch or get peckish before dinner they have bar snacks such as salad, burgers, chips, which was handy. In general, we had no issues with staff, although we were refused ice at the pool bar a couple of times even though we were all inclusive and even had ice included in some drinks, which was very confusing. The complex is very steep and hilly and some people would find this very difficult. The hotel is quite far from Playa de las Americas but this meant that it was very quiet at night time and taxis down to the front and the bars and clubs are very cheap (usually about €7 for a big taxi) so this was not a problem at all. The main problem I would say that this hotel has is that the rooms have no air conditioning and this really was a problem for me as the rooms were completely sweltering! For the price you pay I would say it is good value for money but I would really recommend that the hotel considers installing air conditioning.More
You get what you pay for :)
Our All Inclusive stay was pleasant. Rooms are decent for the price you pay. No air con! Rooms have ceiling fans which we struggled with in high temps, so we rented a fan from an outside company - 30€ (including 10€ refundable deposit) that helped us a bit. We rented a safe aswell from the hotel for 5€ (which you get back after you check out) so that was a bonus for us. Always use a safe! We didn't have many issues with cockroaches, only found 2 dead small ones - 1 on the balcony and 1 in our bathroom. TOP TIP FROM US - SPRAY UNDER THE DOOR AND BALCONY WITH BUG SPRAY (WHICH THEY PROVIDE YOU) WHENEVER YOU GO OUT & AT NIGHT BEFORE YOU GO TO BED. Gives you peace of mind and we felt like it helped a lot. The pool is amazing. We managed to find sunbeds when needed. The activities in the pool are fun too - Aqua Gym, Volley Ball & Water Polo. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The food was very basic and repetitive but it's edible. We enjoyed Chinese & Tex-Mex nights. Very steep hills, so not suitable for people with disabilities. We managed ok as a young couple. Although we always caught taxis back from the centre, rather than walking up the steep hill back to the hotel. Only 3€ - 4€. Entertainment for kids is great plus they have a little playroom for them. All Inclusive drinks stop at 10.30pm which was the only thing that was a little disappointing. Free bus to the beach on the hour.More
