This hotel turns heads with its duo of pools, a gourmet restaurant, and the beach in walking distance.
The hotel has secured a great postcode, with the beach, Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas all around 15-minutes’ walk away. Plus some of the rooms look out on a golf course.
There are two pools, including one with in-water seats. Food-wise, the talking point is a restaurant serving gourmet cuisine. Meanwhile, tribute acts make a big impression in the evenings.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Spotlessly cleaned. Food had varied selection which was good most nights . Pool bar snacks were good and you served your own beer coffee tea and juices. Rooms were spacious with full kitchen but the beds were terrible so hard. If you get a room at reception side of the hotel expect a street view if you can see by the palm trees and it is noisy if you sit out on the balcony. Main bar area had background musicians playing at night and they had various artists in disco area after kids show at night for about 45 mins. Take walking shoes if going into las americas bars or beach 15 minutes stroll down hill bit of a slog back but taxi was only around 4 euro. More
Wonderful 5 days
With the exception of inconsistent coffee, we had a faultless time here. The facilities were second to none, clean & constant fresh food & drink. The staff were all so friendly. So well located, away from hustle and bustle but not too far away from places to visit & beautiful beaches. Thank you so much for a fabulous time. More
Two men shining a torch at us, while we're in bed.......its not the first time its happened here!
I want to start by saying what a lovely hotel this is, everything is maintained well, easy to communicate with the staff, the pools are lovely (one of which is heated), great location for beaches and waterparks, good food (perhaps a little more variety needed) and the hotel rooms and grounds are clean. However on the 2nd night (early morning), we had the very unfortunate experience of opening our eyes to two men in standing in our room, shining a torch at us, they had gained access through the balcony doors and were in the room with our children before coming into our bedroom. We were laying in bed half awake as it was 6:55 am (still very dark) and expecting our daughter to walk in the room as we had heard noises. When we saw the men, my partner immediately jumped up and shouted chasing them out. Our very first thought was our children and if they were ok or even still there! Our children were ok, although woke up shocked and alarmed by the commotion and we found that a few things had been taken (luckily a lot of other valuables were in the safe). At the time we felt terrified and called reception straight away! Reception told us that security had finished at 5am and the police would not come out. We explained again that we just had two men in our room and demanded that they call the police, which they then did. The hotel did move us to another room, offered us 2 x spa circuits (total value £30) and extended security due to what had happened. We wanted a room where we could all be together, they explained that this was not possible as all rooms had the same layout. We then felt we had no choice but to move a bed into the main bedroom so that we could all be together. We then received a letter through our door asking us to move the bed back. We did not as we could not be separated for the remainder of the holiday and couldn't sleep at all, due to what had happened. Our holiday was ruined! I understand this type of thing can happen anywhere, however this has happened before in this hotel and it seems nothing has been done to prevent it and it was not handled in an appropriate way. We stayed 10 nights and never saw any security at night. It is very easy for anyone off the street to access the hotel and rooms. We also had not been aware that the patio doors open both sides (since a bed was positioned in front of one side), so we were assuming everything was locked but it wasn't. We feel that possibly the cleaners or even security/maintenance have something to do with the break in, but the hotel management is not interested in preventing this from happening and this is why i have to rate the hotel as terrible. This incident has had a massive effect on me and my family, and it could have been a whole lot worse! The hotel could have prevented this, but have chosen not to. We spent thousands on this holiday and it was ruined, we have not been offered any compensation from the hotel or Thomson (Thomson who apparently cares!!). We just got asked to pay the outstanding bill of 26 euros which funnily enough was payment for the safe.More

Just returned from a week all inclusive stay at the Marylanza after a weeks cruise around the Canaries. Very nice clean fairly small hotel, with superb food and friendly hard working staff. The only downside I can see about the hotel is the location, which was not a problem for us, but it is at least a 15 minute walk to the sea front etc. We emailed the hotel a few weeks before our holiday, and let them know it was our 25th wedding anniversary, and requested a quiet located room with morning sun, and had the usual reply that 'they would try but couldn't guarantee'. Nobody at reception mentioned anything at check in, but we did have a room that fitted our requirements which may have just been luck, but we were pleased about! We never say never, but can't remember ever returning to any hotel/resort we've ever stayed at, so doubt we'd return, but wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Marylanza to anyone. More
Fantastic hotel couldn't fault it
