Aquopolis Waterpark mid-May - Oct
Under 10s get a whole section to themselves at Aquopolis, and it features a tipping bucket, climbing frame, twirly slides and splash fountains. Families can slide down the Magic Oval together – four to a dinghy, or head over to the enormous lagoon pool for a swim.
For thrill-seekers there’s Boomerang – a V-shaped slide that’ll have you ricocheting up and down the sides, or Kamikaze, a rapid-decent slide. Then there’s Splash, which has you riding on a float so you skim like a stone across the landing pool.
Aquopolis waterpark is off-site, about a 10-minute walk along the seafront. And just so you know, some of the slides may be too big for little ones.
- 140cm for the Kamikaze and Splash slides
- 120cm for the Boomerang slide
For a complete list see the Aquopolis's website. The opening times vary year to year - roughly mid-May to early October. And just so you're aware, the restaurant at the waterpark is not part of your all inclusive package.

Once again estival park comes up trumps travelled with shearings on 16 day holiday malcom and kevin and brian and danny brillant drivers do shearings proud. Estival is the best all inclusive you can get all inclusive means all inclusive you do not have to pay for anything unless you want to upgrade your drink from local spirits to our names brands. Beauty of estival apart from where you sleep you can use all 3 hotels so you can choose quiter spots or more busier to suit you. Rooms maybe a little dated but clean and plenty of room to move around top marks to estivalMore

I visited hotel estival park with my girlfriend and our 4 month old daughter for our first family holiday and it was absolutely amazing. The hotel is only 15 minutes away from the airport and only a 5 minute walk away from the beach. There is a charge of 7 euros for each sunbed and 7 euros if you want to sit under the large parasol. The person taking the money is very authoritarian with this ( dragging a sunbed with a woman on it from under the parasol into the sun as she wouldn't pay the charge.) You do get bothered quite a lot by the beach sellers but once you tell them no they will go away. There are some sand sculptures on the beach which are a sight to behold. There is also a market in a Friday in the hotel car park which is a very interesting sight to behold. We highly recommend taking an hour or so to visit the market. We stayed in hotel 2 and the hotel was extremely clean. We had breakfast and watched entertainment one night in hotel 3 and that was just as clean. The entertainment was excellent with the flamenco show a particular favourite. There is varying entertainment in each hotel each night so there is plenty for everyone. The hotel staff were excellent and really friendly. The restaurant and bar staff were excellent and always willing to help as we're the reception staff who were excellent in arranging for a cot to be delivered to our room for our daughter and also when hiring the kettle. This cost us 14 euros for the week and we had to do it to make the milk for our daughter. The maids were extremely friendly and were excellent in cleaning our room. The pool in hotel 2 was excellent and even though it was busy there were always sunbed available to use. The food and drink at this hotel was amazing. From breakfast where the churros were delicious to the evening paealla. There was always plenty of choice and everything I had was delicious and cannot commend the food enough. I had the pleasure of trying the black rice paella which I have wanted to try for a long time and it was amazing. There are plenty of self serve soft drink stations and Estrella dam pumps around the hotel and this was an amazing gimmick that I loved. It took me back to my many years of working behind a bar. Even when you did have to go to the bar the bar staff were extremely helpful and friendly and didn't hesitate to give you a pint of gin and lemonade so you didn't have to go up too often. If you want to go to Salou you can get a t10 card from the plana shop which you can use for everyone and the bus stop is right on the front. Tarragona is well worth a visit if you have the chance. Overall the hotel is an amazing family hotel where we had an amazing time and is well worth staying. More
Stayed here at the beginning of May for a week. The hotel was great - rooms were a bit dated but were fine for what we needed. No facilities in the rooms though, so we had to pay 14 euros to rent a kettle to make up milk for our little girl. The pools were lovely and clean, great for kids - our little girl loved floating around watching the other kids play! There are three pools; the pool in our hotel block (hotel 2) could get busy and the sun loungers tended to fill up quickly, but it was quiet enough in the complex that we could nab a space by the pools in the other blocks. It rained one morning, so we took advantage of the heated indoor pool. You have to buy swim caps to be able to go in, a few euros each. Food was fantastic with lots of choice - restaurant didn't open until 7.30pm for evening meals so a bit late for very young children, but there was a well replenished snack bar with chicken nuggets, burgers, hot dogs, salad and fruit to keep them going. The hotel was over the road from an absolutely gorgeous beach, and a handy row of shops selling the usual souvenirs and beach tat, as well as a supermarket that stocked nappies, milk etc. Estrella, sangria, cocktails and soft drinks on tap, so no need to queue at the bar if you could be bothered to pour your own drinks! All in all we had a brilliant first family holiday here and I would definitely recommend it to other families. More
Couldn't of ask for a better holiday room was great food was fantastic so much to choose from.we stayed in hotel 2 staff was friendly always happy to help.cant wait to go back.met some amazing ppl who have become great friends.More
Me my husband and our daughter stayed in hotel 2 for a week. There is 3 main hotels to Estival park,we were all inclusive so we tried each pool and snack and food halls.I'm pretty sure you can try them all even if you are not all inclusive. The food was fine there was plenty of choice, pasta, paella, fish, pork, pizza, burgers, loads of vegetables, cheese, bread etc. Breakfast 8-10 lunch 1-3 and dinner 7.30-10pm. Snacks where available from 10am-11.30pm burgers, toasties, hot dogs pastries. Loads of drinks and help yourself to bottled water. Though branded beer wine etc you had to pay a supplement. The room was basic with a balcony over looking the pool which did have some volume of noise but it never kept our daughter awake so it wasn't any bother to us. The room was very clean and tidy as was the whole hotel in general. There was a little play area for our daughter who thoroughly enjoyed it as well as the kids disco at 8.30pm every night. We were a 5 minute walk from shops and the beach, and plenty of buses to take you in to Barcelona etc we never went but the buses were regular. We felt the hotel was busy but comfortable,we never had to queue for food or search long for sun beds. The staff and visitors in general were nice, the staff do a good job. I can imagine though this hotel would be chaotic in busier months and so for families I'd suggest going around about this time. Don't worry about your kids sleep or eating routine our daughter who is 2 years old enjoyed it and fell right in to a good routine here. She enjoyed what was going on around her,the food and she slept very well. We would go back but again in May or a quieter month. Be aware of prices of theme parks and dolphins they were expensive as far as I'm aware your rep can get you discounts. All in all an enjoyable holiday,we would go back, plus it's 15 minutes away from the airport! More
