4/5 star hotel, should be 2/3 star
This is certainly not a 4/5 star hotel. There is smoking everywhere, even in the kids swimming pool and in the corridors outside your rooms. The staff are miserable and unfriendly, apart from a couple, and the entertainment team don't want to know you if you are over 50. Also when pool games are played half the pool is closed to other guests. The food was cold and tasteless and repetative. We had single sheet for a double bed and a top blanket which hardly covered the bed. The rooms were hardly cleaned. Welcome was not very friendly and we would NOT come back againMore
Most certainly not a 4 - Star as advertised!
I have stayed 6 times in Turkey and in my opinion this most certainly was not a 4.5 star hotel by any means. Arrived at 10.30pm. No food, miserable reception staff no direction no map just shoved in our small room. Twin beds pushed together which fell apart. 5 Hangers no UK TV Channels and one bottle of water in the fridge. First appearances were certainly not good. We ventured up to the Lobby Bar when we found it and were met with loud turkish music rude waiters and oh by the way £4.50 if you wanted a Bacardi? The staff were very miserable and the place was filthy, So next morning ventured around the whole hotel. Not very big at all. One Pool and one tiny pool for the 'kids' However the hotel was full of screaming children constantly. Thank goodness the beach was 2 minutes away and lovely or I would have probably cried! So they claim to have 3 Ala Carte Restaurants on site. Wrong they are all in the same Verranda Area seperated by signs but all food came from the same kitchen. BE AWARE You can only book ONE of the THREE Ala Cartes for a weeks stay which is utterly ridiculous when they were never full. I have always been to Turkey and ate at all places available.and been able to drink what I wanted when I wanted. You have to pay for all drinks apart from water in the mini bar also. So basically it was the pool bar for food at the day time which was basic burgers chips and pizza. And the evening the main restaurant which was like feeding time at the zoo and the food was reproduced daily just making it look different. Again all staff were rude and never smiled - The large lady on the egg counter actually threw an omlette on my plate from a foot away! There was nothing to do at all after 10pm - The so called nightclub was a square box with a bar but no barman and they try to encourage you not go in there - The 'DJ' is a little boy on a laptop playing Turkish music. One evening I wanted to sit on my balcony and have a glass of red wine. Oh no, I had to go and walk to the lobby and get a drink in a plastic cup. If it wasn't for a couple of journeys out and a boat cruise in the middle think this place would have broken us. We met some lovely people and were all almost laughing at fact this is supposed to be a 4.5 star rated hotel? Very very poor especially for Turkey Standards and have stayed in so much better. It is in a remote location which is exactly there this place should offer so much more for its paying customers. One last note you CAN NOT get WIFI anywhere. So unless you have your data roaming then forget it! TUI Rep spent more time talking than resolving issues and in the hour she was there dealing with all the other complaints.More
Stayed for two weeks , food cold , sun beds so uncomfortable , wi if slow or not working single duvet on a double bed , room not cleaned very well , but sun shine couldn't fault , we will not go back here and as for rating hotel then I would say it's more like 2 to 3 starMore
Have just returned with my fiance after having spent a week from the 9th to the 16th September 2017. I cannot fault this hotel in any way or form from the minute we arrived till the minute we left. Our room was basic but lovely and was cleaned daily. The staff are lovely .... bit of a language barrier but nothing we couldn't handle. Loved the 24hr bar ... not much of a drinker but we fell in love with the local beer Efes and will be sourcing it back here in the UK. Spent a couple of days in Kusadasi town having caught the bus right outside the hotel. When in Kusadasi if you want to book any excursions go and see Jimmy whom you will find selling excursions right next to the Casablanca Restaurant which everyone seems to know and if you are looking for a decent cheap meal visit the 4 brothers restaurant. I cannot even begin to describe how happy we were with our holiday and we shall definitely be returning. In fact, I do have one small little issue .... I have knee and hip problems and the swimming pool does not have any level entry access so I found it difficult getting in and out of the pool but apart from that the hotel is very mobility friendly. You will not regret choosing this hotel for your holiday.More
This hotel is very nice but maybe 4 star not 5.The only major letdown was the food, the pool area and beach are brilliant and very clean as is the hotel, toilets and all areas..The problem with the food was not of hygiene level but the temperature the food is kept at and all mealtimes are very similar variety. I know how difficult it must be to serve so many people from so many different countries, and it doesn't help when ignorant people constantly leave the chafing dish lids open and walk away! Both myself and my friend had really bad stomach problems after 48 hrs in the hotel, as we had read reviews on here before travelling we took plenty of remedies..and we basically survived 4 days on immodium and diarolite...we hardly eat and could not drink alcohol due to the stomach cramps or leave the hotel due to needing to be near a toilet We have been home for nearly 48 hrs and still feel in pain...This unfortunately was the only downside to this hotel...Please don't feel put off as this could happen anywhere to anybody...
