Wheelchair assistance

Can I take my wheelchair on the plane?

On our in-house airline we offer free wheelchair carriage, and of course this will not be considered part of your baggage allowance. Your wheelchair will be carried in the hold of the aircraft and can be collected at the baggage reclaim area. Powered wheelchairs must have dry cell batteries.

How will I get on board?

Please let us know before you book if you require assistance getting on and off the aircraft. We will be happy to arrange this wherever possible. When you pre-book this we will require proof of need such as your registered disabled number or a letter from your doctor.
To pre-book assistance please call Customer Support on 1850 94 61 64 (Republic of Ireland) or 028 90 389 387 (Northern Ireland).

What happens if I cannot use the transfer coach?

If the extent of your disability is such that you cannot use the transfer coach between your resort airport and accommodation, then taxi transfers can be pre-booked at a charge.
Our special assistance team can find out prices and book this for you. Please call Customer Support on 1850 94 61 64 (Republic of Ireland) or 028 90 389 387 (Northern Ireland).

Is there anything else I should be aware of?

As your wheelchair must be checked in with the rest of your luggage after you reach the gate, we strongly recommend that you purchase adequate insurance for it before travelling.

If you or anyone in your party requires further information regarding wheelchair assistance at the airport and on your flight, please call Customer Support on 1850 94 61 64 (Republic of Ireland) or 028 90 389 387 (Northern Ireland).
