About Gouvia
Gouvia is close to Corfu Town on the east coast of the island. Its proximity to the capital makes it very popular with day trippers, who come to admire the resort and enjoy the restaurants, tavernas, cafés, bars and shops. Gouvia is built around a deep, natural bay with two long promontories either side, giving it a secluded feel. The bay boasts several sand and shingle beaches in delightful coves, with watersports and facilities on offer. There is a good nightlife with plenty of tavernas, bars and discos offering everything from live fish for supper to live music for dancing.
