About Puerto Rico
An attractive self-contained resort, Puerto Rico is built into the cliffside overlooking a gently shelving sandy beach. There are bars, discos and restaurants based in the 2 commercial centres and picturesque marina. Watersports are available as well as a Lido with swimming pools, tennis courts, a mini golf course, and a children's playground.
About Gran Canaria
Gran Canaria with its excellent climate has a landscape of such contrasting scenery that it has been labelled a "Continent in Miniature". Its sharp ravines plunge 2,000 metres to sea level and are dramatically picturesque while the undulating dunes give a distinctly African flavour. Towards the north you will find sweeping hills, cool breezes and luscious banana, tomato and vine plantations. The pine forests and the many mountain retreats are pleasant diversions to the warm beaches and bustling resort life. The beaches range from small secluded coves to soft shimmering sand.
