I'll start with the pro's: - Big selection of food at breakfast including fresh omelette stand, fried egg and eggy bread stand, fresh pancake stand with plenty of toppings, range of cereals, fruits, pastries, cold meats, cheeses, yoghurts, and juices. - Clean pools (both normal and fresh water pools). We had no issues with sun beds or overcrowding like some people had reading previous reviews (maybe because we went off-peak- Mid Sept). Please note that you do have to pay for the sun beds in the fresh water pool area. - Rooms were spacious and there is plenty of storage. - Wifi was great throughout the hotel. - There are plenty of restaurants, pubs, clubs, shopping centres, and beaches that are very close by the hotel. - Staff are very friendly and helpful. Cons: - It was initially a bit difficult to navigate around the hotel as it isn't signposted very well, but we soon figured our way around. - There was building works going on as the hotel is undergoing some renovations, but it didn't bother us so much; the hotel needs a few updates! - The queen bed is just two single beds pushed together. - The drain in our shower was very slow and the shower area filled up quite quickly so it was a bit difficult to enjoy a nice power shower. I did fill in a request for someone to see to it, but unfortunately nobody did. - We had a leak in our AC unit and it made the room smell like sewage every so often which really wasn't pleasant! We didn't go to any of the restaurants that the hotel had so I cannot comment on the food, but the menus looked good- may be not so much for vegetarians. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was nice to stay somewhere different rather than a bog standard hotel. More
Hotel Jardin Tropical
Fantastic hotel in a great part of Tenerife. Lovely reception area, greeted with a glass of fizz whilst checking in. I had several communications with the hotel before my holiday dates as the company I used to book got the dates wrong, the staff did everything possible to help me out. The grounds are stunning and the food is great with a very good selection. The pools are awesome and the spa treatments we got where very good. We upgraded our room to a suite which was stunning and always very clean with a fantastic balcony. I have just booked up again and cant wait to return on the 18th November.More
Hotel Jardin Tropical
Staff very helpful, room very good, It was my Husbands birthday while we were there, we got a upgraded room, champagne and chocolates. The day of his birthday they put balloons in the room and a card, very thoughtfull. Breakfast was brilliant lots to choose from yes you might have to wait for eggs to be cooked but at least you know they will be hot. I only drink decaff coffee with soya milk no problem what so ever the waiters got to know this and as soon as we sat down they brought it to our table, nothing was to much trouble. Lots of building work going on but you get use to it, the place will be amazing once all completed. Prices at the pool bar are expensive (soft drinks) but there is a supermarket across the road we bought large bottles and took them with us when we sat by the poolMore
Hotel Jardin Tropical
First visit to Tenerife ,loved the hotel it was beautiful ,we where greeted with a glass off fizz on arrival and staff where lovely, we had a new refurbished room and it was beautiful inside and spotlessly clean, their wasn't any tea and coffe facilities but I think you can request this and I will do this on my next stay, the place is like a maze inside but on the second day we found our way about easily, their was different things in the hotel getting refurbished but it didn't bother us in anyway. The Food was amazing and the breakfast buffet was delish, you could have anything you wanted and their was a lot to choose from, and I must say ,very handsome Chefs, and they where very nice to chat too. The house keeping staff cleaned your room every day and they where also very nice. The night time entertainment wasn't very good and we just went out at night but it depends on what your looking for. I would defiantly go back to this hotel as we loved our stay here and in Tenerife ,the grounds in the hotel are all private and we easily got beds any time we went down to sit in the sun, the grounds are beautiful just like the hotel.More

A Beautiful Hotel
The Hotel Jardin Tropical is magnificent…The architect, the famous Melvin Villarroel, has been given free licence and has departed from the boring angular and square symmetrical construction typical found in the design of hotels, to create this beautiful place of tranquillity. It is set amid sublime subtropical gardens and offers an idyllic place to relax and admire views across the Atlantic Ocean from this romantic setting. The guest rooms have been tastefully decorated and feature all the mod cons such as a minibar, satellite LCD TV, electronic safe, towels, linen etc. The balcony is private and secluded., setting the scene for a romantic evening watching the sun go down and afterwards gazing at the darkened sky reflecting the lights from passing sea craft, whilest enjoying a glass of wine. The hotel has five restaurants, including the perimeter cliff top ’Las Rocas’ Restaurant looking out across stunning views. All meals are excellent in all their restaurants and, unlike many other hotels, breakfast is no exception. Evening entertainment in the Sunset Bar varies each evening and is diverse, modern, upbeat and of a good quality. The hotel is set right next to the beach and central to all other bars and restaurants in the local. I would recommend this to anyone and particularly to those on honeymoon whether it be their first or their fifty first. More
