The Sol Tenerife brags an in-the-thick-of-things location, with a beach in one direction and Playa de las Americas’ nightlife in the other.
If we could give this hotel any postcode, it’d probably be 90210. Everything’s in easy reach – there’s a beach in front of you, a bar-lined strip behind, and the famous Siam Park waterpark just 20 minutes’ wander away.
The property’s designers took advantage of its beachfront address, carving a couple of pools into a sea-view terrace. Other deal-breakers include sports courts and a packed entertainment schedule.

Would NOT recommend
We are just back from a 10 night stay at this place and would not recommend anyone stay here if your looking for a relaxing holiday. The VERY loud music from the bars around the hotel means that you get NO sleep until around 6am . And when I say loud I really mead LOUD we had to move rooms 3 times and it made NO difference what so ever. The patio doors leading to the balcony are useless may has well not be there . We had go go fro a walk to get away from the NOISE and dreaded have to go back . Even it you want to relax in the day time around the pool you can NOT has the same loud bass music started by the hotel around the pool. We just had breakfast then went to the beach to relax Has for the rooms here well they are from the 1980s Very basic old furniture and NO plug sockets and the WiFi is useless! We have NEVER been on holiday before and looked forward to going home so much It was £1500 that was wasted. If you thinking of staying here or have one planned. Take my advice and change it before it’s to late. Don’t regret it like we are nowMore
My wife and I have just returned from this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Staff were all very friendly and spoke good English. Location is also excellent near to the beach and entertainment was enjoyable, I didn't think the noise was bad at all, I have already booked again for next year.More
Nice hotel good location but can be noisy
Travelled as group of 2 couples. Taxi trip from airport approx €30. check in slower than some hotels but it covered all information regarding hotel facilities leaving you to enjoy the rest trip and not having to go back asking questions. Yes the pool Bar doesn’t handle cash. But you just put Money on your room at check in and you can check the balance every morning or top-up whenever if needed. We put €100 on it and covered us for the week. Pools are grand was busy but there’s loads of room and even places away from the pool to relax. rooms were very clean. Could do with updating only 1 socket in room. Our room was quiet at night (Block B east facing balcony) but our friends that travelled with us weren’t as lucky. they were block B aswell But west facing and my god the noise at night from the night clubs till early hours of the morning. and I can only imagine block A is the same. We were B&B basis. Breakfast was ok plenty to choose from. had a snack at the pool bar 1 day but felt if was a bit pricy compared to the restaurants outside the hotels back gate. It’s a shame about the noise at night otherwise I would recommend this hotel. If I was to return I would make sure a request a quiet room. If travelling to Tenerife check out Gaelic corner & the Dubliner. Hole in the wall. Hard Rock Cafe. Also monkey beach club just up from hotel does great cocktails. More
This hotel is right on Veronica's Strip. Ideal for party goers or younger people. The music is very loud and you can certainly hear it at night. The door leading out to our balcony had no seal, we had to wedge something between the handle to get a good seal on it. Breakfast was okay, but after 7 days of the same stuff was rather boring. It's only a two minute walk from the beach which we spent most of our holiday as the pool side is over crowded. There isn't enough space for the capacity of the hotel guests here. Checked in was a joke, working in the hotel industry myself I would never expect any of my guests to experience the long haul we waited, waiting to actually getting served to the actual process took an extremely long time. There is a lot of employees behind the desk, but clearly none to a standard they should be at as we experienced three different people on check-in. Check out was terrible I noticed that my watch had been missing from my room the night before so on checkout I said the the receptionist. I had last wore the watch on Saturday, but packing up on Monday was when I realised it was missing. There was nothing done to ensure me that they would do there best to locate it. We were leaving the hotel at 9am and no manager was on site. I had to contact the manager myself once I got home about the situation, this was a terrible end to what could have been a good holiday. After more investigation through trip advisor it seems to be a common occurrence for items to go missing in this hotel More
